About Jin Chan Dental Surgery

Jin Chan completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Sydney University in 1988. After graduation she sought employment with the Brisbane Dental Hospital. During her time there, she specialised for 2 years in endodontics (root canal therapy).

Jin went on to private sector for 6 years before opening her own practice in 2000. Her time working with, and for others, allowed her the opportunity to recognise certain elements she would or would not like to incorporate into her own practice.

Having established her private practice over 8 years ago and with in excess of 8000 patients, she has created an environment that is friendly, caring and professional. Her goal has been to provide a high standard of dental care, while hopefully taking some of the fear out of dentistry. As such she has strived to surround herself with likeminded staff, who also understand that going to the dentist is not most people’s favourite place. This practice covers all aspects of general dentistry, from preventative care (check ups and cleans) to cosmetic work (bleaching, veneering and crowning etc).
